Stunning blue marlin artwork adorns the tail of this excellent P-3C from US Navy patrol squadron VP-40. But the cool markings aren’t the only benefits of this fine model. The aircraft’s anti-submarine gear, such as the rear Magnetic Anomaly Detector boom, under-fuselage Sonobuoy bay and weapons pylons are well depicted, and the red and white striped props are attractive. A pleasant change from glamorous fighters, this is a classy rendition of an unsung hero.
