New scale models from Road Transport Images

RTI already produces the largest range of British truck models from 1932 to 2000+ in 1/76 scale (4mm), with well over 100 cabs and 40 body types introduced since it started eight years ago. Over 60 cabs are on the list at any one time.

Resin and white metal components allow for straightforward assembly, with instructions supplied for alternative chassis and body conversions. All items are sold individually to enable the modeller to buy exactly what’s needed for the intended project.

The latest innovation is a range of cabs introduced at the recent Retro Truck Show that can be used with the RTI range of chassis, bodies, trailers and accessories, or to convert Corgi and Oxford 1/76 scale artics.

These introductions are DAF CF, ERF ECS, Iveco Eurotech and Seddon Atkinson Strato. There are high-roof variants and some with air management fitted. A number of other cabs in the current range are also suitable for Corgi/Oxford conversions.

Frank Waller and Bob Fridd, who run RTI, are now offering their award-winning skills to assemble and finish models after numerous customer requests to individual requirements.
