ModelZone launch exclusive Routemaster bus from Sunstar

ModelZone is launching a new limited edition Routemaster bus from Sunstar.

The new model is of an East London RMC, on express route X15, the Beckton Express, destination Oxford Circus. The real bus is still operating for the Ensign Bus Company. This is the first appearance of the Sunstar RMC in red livery, the correct three-piece front destination blinds and the correct Beckton Express nearside slipboard.

With only 639 available worldwide, this precision engineered 1/24 scale diecast replica of the RMC 1485-485CLT has been hand crafted to the highest standards. Each model is hand assembled and has over 250 parts. With detailed research into the original decoration to reproduce this iconic bus, this limited edition is a must for all serious bus collectors.

Features include a detailed AEC engine with opening bonnet, working front wheels, fully detailed interior, baggage compartment and chassis, and authentic livery and destination panels.

The model will be available in May, priced at £124.99 each.
