Lehmann clockwork tinplate toys sell well at Special Auction Services auction

The Special Auction Services’ July Toys for the Collector sale saw a collection of eight Lehmann clockwork tinplate toys go under the hammer. Collectively they reached £5,550 with the star lot being Lot 604, EPL  470  clockwork  painted and lithographed Anxious Bride Nanni (woman’s hat with brim) 22cm long, with top of box lid and tinplate tag, which sold for £1,200 against an estimate of £400–500.
