Luxury was no longer a dirty word, and firms such as Armstrong Siddeley looked to a positive future. Wonderful cars such as the Hurricane helped set new trends.

One of the most elegant motors of its time, the Hurricane was produced between 1946 and 1953, with just over 2,600 being made.

With its Gazelle Fawn paint, high-quality finish and leather-effect upholstery, this newly tooled Hurricane is in a class of its own, and Oxford is to be commended for offering such a great model at a wallet-friendly price.

The paint is spotless, while the red trim lines on the side are incredibly fine. And, due to the folded-down roof, one can easily enjoy the smart interior. It isn’t complex or flashy, just classy: less is definitely more in this case. The chrome fittings also have a realistic shine.
