Hornby announces its new releases for 2012

Hornby has released details of its new products for 2012, including new locomotives and rolling stock, train sets and limited editions packs.

Joining its range of train sets is a limited edition set in celebration of Her Majesty the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, which will be restricted to 4,000 pieces.

The 'Princess Elizabeth' locomotive with gold effect metal components certainly looks the part when pulling the three LMS coaches around the oval of track, which also incorporates a siding. As a special addition the set will also include a resin, brass effect maker’s plate celebrating Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee as well as a limited edition certificate.

Joining Hornby's ranks of steam train packs are the following items:

R3092 Coronation Scot Train Pack - Limited Edition 2,000
R3094 Diamond Jubilee Royal Train Pack - Special Edition 1,700
R3093 Tornado Pullman Train Pack - Special Edition 2000 (pictured below)

British Railway (BR) Bogie Passenger Brake - new tooling
BR Thompson Non-Corridor Composite (Lavatory) - new tooling
BR Thompson Non-Corridor Third Class - new tooling
Southern Railway (SR) Bogie Passenger Brake - new tooling (pictured below)
