The recent new releases from Holly Loves Toys have included more animal ranges.

There is a set of foxhounds based on Amanda Wilson’s experience with the Fourburrow Hunt in Cornwall. In a pack the hounds are different – some have rough coats, some have smooth, some are sleek and some are heavier built etc. So, when she came to make the HLT hounds, she kept this in mind. The hounds are £7 each painted, but can be available unpainted on request.

Amanda has always adored Border Collies and wanted to update the Rough Collie models that are currently available in 1/32 scale. With the help of Dave Love of Mountford Metal Miniatures, Amanda has produced this set of fi ve, named after collies she has known. She really wanted the models to capture the spirit of the breed. Whether crouching to herd sheep or trotting through the yard, the breed is always full of enthusiasm and life. The figures are £7 each painted or are available unpainted.

Finally, HLT has released a set of cats. An ex-Britain’s sculptor designed the fi gures and HLT was so enamoured with the quirky models that it bought the copyright and now produces the set. Prices are from £4.50, again available unpainted on request.
