GreenLight has put a retro spin on two iconic automobiles of surfer hippie folklore: the 1962 Volkswagen Bus and the 1967 Volkswagen Beetle.

GreenLight’s 1/18 retro VW offerings with throw-back body paint schemes are:

• 1962 Volkswagen Micro Bus – Retro Paint Scheme (12837)
• 1967 Volkswagen Beetle – Retro Paint Scheme (12838)

The diecast replicas feature detailed engines, opening doors, real rubber tyres, metal body and plastic chassis, detailed graphics and custom license plates. They are both officially licensed. The models are out now and 2,500 pieces of each colour will be produced.
