Corgi releases its next batch of Olympic diecast taxis for London 2012
Corgi has released its next wave of 1/64 scale diecast 'Destination London 2012' taxis each representing a different Olympic or Paralympic sport. ...
Diecast Collector was pleased to see that the next two batches of Olympic Taxis from Corgi will soon be available for collectors.
On our recent visit to Margate we spotted models from Wave 6 and Wave 7 of the Olympic Taxi range that included eight more of the proposed 40 1/64 scale London Taxis. Each taxi represents a different London 2012 Olympic or Paralympic sport with eye catching pictograms on the sides.
Pictured are TY66123 No 21 Beach Volleyball, TY66124 No 22 Fencing, TY66125 No 23 Canoe Sprint, TY66126 No 24 Road Cycling, TY66127 No 25 Diving, TY66128 No 26 BMX Cycling, TY66129 No 27 Handball and TY66130 No 28 Wheelchair Rugby.
