Iconic females of the antiques and collectables world

Here at Collect it we don’t usually go in for that over-used word, ‘icon’, but in the September issue we are unashamedly using it in features devoted to iconic females of the antiques and collectables world, both real – such as those pioneering women artists in the Doulton Lambeth studio of the 19th century – and fictional – Betty Booth, Art Deco Flappers and Princess Leia. I’d be interested to know who you consider a female icon – let me know.
