The Association of British Philatelic Societies (ABPS) is the National Organisation catering for the needs of collectors through the Federations and local societies and those interested in philately.

Membership of the Association falls into various categories being Federations, Specialist, National and Local Societies and Overseas Societies. A special category of Patrons and Friends has been created for those interested in the work of the Association and are valuable in assisting the Association to achieve its aims. These individuals receive the ABPS news and can attend the Annual General Meeting without voting rights.

Founded in 1967, our club normally meet on the first and third Thursday of each month (except August) at The Fold Arts Centre, Laindon Road, Billericay. Our varied programme includes speakers, displays, quizzes, open evenings with visiting dealers, and visits to other stamp clubs and exhibitions. Visitors and new members are always very welcome to join us. Please contact us for further information or come along to one of our club evenings.

Dudley Philatelic Society meets on the second and fourth tuesday of each month (September - May) at the Central Methodist Hall, Cross Street, Dudley, West Midlands. We have a varied programme of meetings which include displays, auctions, quizzes and competitions. Visitors and prospective members are guaranteed a warm welcome.

The Kettering Stamp & Philatelic Society (KSPS) has about 80 members and is a club for both the stamp collector and philatelist. It meets on the 1st Thursday of each month at 7.30pm and is held at the St. Mary's CEVA Primary School, Fuller Street, Kettering, NN16 0JH. Activities include club auctions, invited speakers, stamp dealers and members nights. The club holds two Stamp Fairs each year, in April & October, which are widely supported by dealers and stamp collectors from around the country.

The club is 70 years old on Oct 4th 2008. We meet once a month in the main Library small lecture room (Second Tuesdays). New members always welcome and visitors are as well.
