The Association of British Philatelic Societies (ABPS) is the National Organisation catering for the needs of collectors through the Federations and local societies and those interested in philately.

Membership of the Association falls into various categories being Federations, Specialist, National and Local Societies and Overseas Societies. A special category of Patrons and Friends has been created for those interested in the work of the Association and are valuable in assisting the Association to achieve its aims. These individuals receive the ABPS news and can attend the Annual General Meeting without voting rights.

Founded in 1967, our club normally meet on the first and third Thursday of each month (except August) at The Fold Arts Centre, Laindon Road, Billericay. Our varied programme includes speakers, displays, quizzes, open evenings with visiting dealers, and visits to other stamp clubs and exhibitions. Visitors and new members are always very welcome to join us. Please contact us for further information or come along to one of our club evenings.

The Society provides friendly and welcoming meetings for everyone interested in collecting stamps, postcards and postal history. Meetings are usually on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from September to May and are held in the John Peek Room of the BMI, Margaret Street, Birmingham BS 3BS starting at 6.30pm. The Society has been going for 127 years. It has an extensive library and holds a number of auctions. The main Society Auction in February is a major event and there is also an important annual Charity Auction in April. Last year the latter raised £1,000 for a local hospice. New members are very welcome.

Meetings are held 7.55 - 930pm on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from September to June in Room 1.

Dudley Philatelic Society meets on the second and fourth tuesday of each month (September - May) at the Central Methodist Hall, Cross Street, Dudley, West Midlands. We have a varied programme of meetings which include displays, auctions, quizzes and competitions. Visitors and prospective members are guaranteed a warm welcome.

Epping Forest & District Stamp Club are looking for new members.We meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month at Roding Valley High School, Room T8 Loughton Essex IG10 3JA at 7.30 We hold two auctions every year, January and June. We hold various competitions,swaps and visiting speakers who have an infinite knowledge of stamps and other subjects. New members and absolute beginners are always welcome. The Helvetia Philatelic Society is a national organisation that exists for the benefit of people interested in collecting the stamps and postal history of Switzerland and furthering the interests of Swiss philately in general.

General collectors club. Members with a wide variety of topics meeting 2nd Friday of the month for displays , talks and swap nights at The United Reform Church, Moldgreen. Meetings start at 7.30pm. You name it somebody here collects it! (or knows somebody that does)

The Kettering Stamp & Philatelic Society (KSPS) has about 80 members and is a club for both the stamp collector and philatelist. It meets on the 1st Thursday of each month at 7.30pm and is held at the St. Mary's CEVA Primary School, Fuller Street, Kettering, NN16 0JH. Activities include club auctions, invited speakers, stamp dealers and members nights. The club holds two Stamp Fairs each year, in April & October, which are widely supported by dealers and stamp collectors from around the country.

Lanarkshire Philatelic Society has over 100 members with a wide diversity of collecting interests. We meet every fortnight from September to April with displays covering a wide variety of topics. Our, regularly updated, web site has full details of our contacts and meeting programme.

The Netherlands Philatelic Circle exists to study all aspects of stamps and postal history of the Netherlands, its former colonies and Indonesia. We are made up of a wide range of people mainly from the UK, but also abroad, all with a shared interest. We are a friendly bunch and offer help and experience through our regular journals and newsletters, extensive library, packets, auctions and meetings. New members welcome, experienced or not. The club is 70 years old on Oct 4th 2008. We meet once a month in the main Library small lecture room (Second Tuesdays). New members always welcome and visitors are as well.

Sheffield Philatelic Society meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, September through to July. Meetings are at the United Reformed Church (opp. Crucible Theatre stage door) 60 Norfolk Street, Sheffield S1 2JB. They start at 7:15 We are in the process of organising the ABPS exhibition to be held at Ponds Forge, Sheffield in early May 2011.

Southport Stamp & Postcard Club was founded in 1930 and has met on a regular basis ever since. Currently we meet on the first Tuesday of each month, except for July and August, at the Birkdale Branch Library, in one of Southport's suburban villages. A friendly club in the heart of the sussex countryside. Believe it or not, we have some members below 65! We meet every 3rd monday of the month from september to may. For many, the guest speakers are the draw but the 2/3 mail auctions and 2 main live auctions with upwards of 400 lots are the big attraction. Please be asured a warm welcome with free tea/biscuits and nearly always a sales table to browse.
